I notice in the Device manager, there are two drivers.the HID compiliant mouse driver and the Intellisense driver.The intellisense driver seems to be active because of the new 'wheel' configuration options. The only thing I haven't tried is a complete reboot after setting change.but if that was the case, you would think the intellimouse driver would tell me to reboot after installation. So I browsed to the MS Excel file and configured 'Disabled' for it. When you enable that, a Settings button appears and when you click that, another dialog box opens where you can enable/disable the wheel action for a specific program. So I selected that and hit Apply.ДЇinally, I noticed there is a checkbox labeled 'Enable program-specific settings'. Then, I noticed on the Buttons Tab, there is a Wheel button drop down. Then, On the Scrolling Tab, I unchecked the vertical and horizontal scrolling check boxes. On the main Buttons Tab, I selected wheel mouse optical. I downloaded and installed the Intellimouse driver.
